How do I get to the airport?
The airport is just off of I-65; just take the Selma ext (exit 167). The airport is just a short drive from there. See the map here.
How early should I arrive for my flight?
Airlines are currently recommending that you arrive 90 minutes before your flight.
How much carry-on luggage can I bring?
Each airline has their own policy on this. Contact your airline for further information.
Is there a list of prohibited items to carry on?
Yes. The Transportation Security Administration's list can be found here. You can also download it by right clicking the link and selecting "Save Target As". You'll need the Adobe Reader to view it.
Is parking available? What are the rates?

Is Internet access available at the airport?
Yes, the airport offers broadband access in the business service center via Ethernet, and wireless Internet access throughout the public areas of the terminal. Internet access is free as a service to airport patrons.
Is there a shuttle service to the airport? What about taxi cabs?
There are currently no shuttles to or from the airport at this time. Taxi cabs are available, and are usually standing by. Airport Police will always be happy to call a taxi for you if enough aren't available. However, there are hotel shuttles that can be accessed via special phones in the baggage claim area.
Where can I find employment information for Montgomery Regional Airport?
Airport Authority employment is handled through the Montgomery City/County Personnel system. All non-Airport Authority agencies (airlines, car rentals, TSA, etc.) handle their own employment. Contact those agencies for employment information.
Why don't you list local numbers for the airlines at Montgomery Regional Airport?
Airlines handle all communications through national phone numbers and the Internet. This is their policy, not the Airport Authority's. These numbers can be found on the airlines page.
If I call the Airport Authority, can you just transfer me to the airlines?
No, the Airport Authority has no direct lines to the airline desks. Again, all communications are through airline-provided phone numbers and the Internet.
Can I purchase tickets or get pricing information through the Airport Authority?
No, all flight tickets are purchased through the airlines, or from discount travel websites. See our airlines page for links to airline and travel websites.

Comments or questions concerning the airlines should be addressed to them directly, including baggage issues, questions about ID/passport issues, and carry on luggage limits. Do you have an FBO?
Yes, FBO services are provided by Montgomery Aviation.
What time does the Airport Authority open it's doors to the public?
Generally, starting at 4 AM. The airport stays open until all passengers from the last scheduled flight have departed.
Is food available at the Airport Authority?
Yes, the Airport Authority has a
sandwich shop. On the secure side of the terminal, there is also a Montgomery
Muggs coffee/food/gift shop.
Who do I contact if I have a baggage problem?
Contact your airline. Baggage and information numbers are posted on the airlines page.
I'd like to check the status of a flight. How do I do that?
Call your airline, or check their website for the current status of a flight.
If the airline phone numbers are busy, what do I do?
Try calling back at non-peak times. Also, try using airline websites to get your information.
What kinds of Airplanes can use Montgomery Regional Airport?
Montgomery Regional Airport can accommodate most aircraft. We've handled everything from blimps to 747s, from Air Force C-5 Galaxy transports to Air Force One. Military aircraft are a common sight here. We've even had the massive Russian Antonov 124 transport. For information on such things as runway length, see this site.
